Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has responded to the backlash surrounding his marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin.
In a viral Instagram post, Yul claimed that their happiness is causing discomfort to their critics. He shared a photo of himself and Judy, writing in a mix of pidgin and English:
“Our progress and happiness dey pain so many people. It’s giving them sleepless nights. That is why they keep coming up with all sorts of lies against us, they are now paying people to lie against us.
“Una never see anything. Una go talk tire. When you talk finish, you hug the transformer. Our matter will send you all to the hospital. You cannot bring us down.”
This statement follows recent allegations by Emmanuel Obasi, Judy’s ex-husband, who accused her of infidelity and claimed she has denied him access to their children for ten years. In response, Judy denied the infidelity allegations, asserting that she met Yul many years after her divorce.
