Wizkid Sparks Controversy by Calling Davido “Talentless”

Nigerian superstar Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has reignited his rivalry with fellow artist Davido, labeling him as “wack” and “talentless” in a recent social media jab. The comment followed Davido’s teaser of a new single featuring YG Marley, which seemingly triggered Wizkid to throw shade online.

Wizkid took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and wrote:

“P*ssy boys dropping mids again!”

This comment quickly sparked fan speculation, with many linking it to Davido’s recent music announcement. The rivalry between the two artists has been ongoing, and this latest dig follows a heated exchange between them on X a few months ago.

An X user, @CulturalVoice, directly addressed Wizkid, asking:

“So if you no beef @davido your song won’t sell?”

Wizkid responded:

“I don’t beef wack niggas! We all know he’s wack! No talent!”

The interaction has stirred up more discussions between the fanbases of both artists, intensifying the already well-documented tension between the Afrobeats heavyweights. Fans now await a potential response from Davido, who has yet to comment on Wizkid’s harsh criticism.

This ongoing feud continues to capture the attention of the music industry, leaving fans divided over the impact of both artists on the Nigerian and global music scenes.
