Social media influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has publicly apologized to renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN, for insinuations that emerged in connection with the bribery allegations involving crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.
Appearing before the House of Representatives Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions, VeryDarkMan clarified his stance, stating:
“Apparently now, some people are taking advantage of what is going on to target Femi Falana.”
He expressed his disappointment regarding Falana’s name being mentioned in the bribery scandal:
“Here, I apologize. It’s so sad that his name was inside that audio. I couldn’t believe it as well; that is the part that irritated me more, which I said I refuse to believe that he is a party to something like that.”
This apology comes after allegations suggested Falana might be involved in the N15 million bribery case, which VeryDarkMan has now denounced, reaffirming his disbelief in Falana’s involvement.
