Nigerian R&B sensation Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has expressed that she is open to the idea of marriage. Unlike many of her peers in the entertainment industry who have publicly dismissed the idea, the 29-year-old Grammy-winning artist revealed her openness to the possibility in a recent episode of the “Shopping The Sneakers” podcast.
When asked by the host if she would consider getting married someday, Tems initially hesitated but eventually responded:
“Yeah. We will see.”
Tems, who has largely kept her personal life private and is not publicly known to be in any romantic relationship, has had to navigate various rumors, including a baseless claim that she was pregnant with American rapper Future’s child, which she promptly denied.
In a separate interview with YouTuber Korty EO, Tems also shared her thoughts on relationships, suggesting that many men enter relationships without any genuine intentions beyond physical attraction. Despite these challenges, her recent comments indicate that she hasn’t ruled out marriage and remains open to what the future may bring.
