Nigerian superstar Tems continues to solidify her status as a global powerhouse, earning four new RIAA certifications in the United States.

Her breakout hit ‘Free Mind’ has officially been certified 2X Platinum, surpassing 2 million units in sales. The song, which became a fan favorite, peaked at No. 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent an impressive 26 weeks on the chart.
Tems’ song ‘Higher’ has also achieved Platinum status, making it the second track from her debut EP ‘For Broken Ears’ to reach this milestone.
Meanwhile, ‘Found’, her acclaimed collaboration with Brent Faiyaz, and her BET-winning single ‘Me & U’ from her debut album ‘Born In The Wild’, have both been certified Gold, signifying sales of 500,000 units each.

The two-time Grammy winner kicked off 2025 on a high note after earning three nominations at the 67th Grammy Awards. She made history by becoming the first Nigerian artist to win the Best African Music Performance category and also secured nominations for Best Global Album and Best R&B Song, making her the first Nigerian artist ever recognized in the R&B category.
Tems’ success follows a phenomenal 2024, during which she released her debut album and embarked on a sold-out world tour spanning Europe and North America.
