Released on August 9, 2024, the ten-track album, No Love In Lagos, blends the gritty storytelling of Show Dem Camp with The Cavemen’s neo-highlife rhythms and Nsikak’s masterful guitar work.
No Love In Lagos is a sonic journey that showcases the seamless fusion of genres. Show Dem Camp’s soul-stirring rap flows effortlessly alongside The Cavemen’s infectious highlife beats, all enhanced by Nsikak’s enchanting strings. “Collaboration is everything in the Afrobeats scene. It takes the music to places you’d never expect,” says Tec, one-half of Show Dem Camp.
The album features powerhouse contributions from artists like Obongjayar, Tim Lyre, Moelogo, and Ruti, with production helmed by the renowned super-producer Spax. This project marks a unique collaboration between two of Nigeria’s leading alternative music duos.
