Shock Decision: INEOS Cuts Sir Alex Ferguson’s Multi-Million-Pound Man United Contract

In a surprising move, INEOS has decided to end Sir Alex Ferguson’s lucrative contract as an ambassador for Manchester United. According to The Athletic, the company’s decision is part of their ongoing cost-cutting measures.

Despite the contract termination, the split has been amicable. Ferguson, the legendary former manager, will continue to serve as a non-executive director for the club. He’ll still be a familiar face at Old Trafford, welcomed at games and events, as confirmed by sports journalist Adam Crafton.

The decision marks a significant shift in Manchester United’s evolving financial strategy under INEOS.
