Inspired by legendary Nigerian footballer Jay Jay Okocha, known for his effortless dribbles and slick moves, Ruger draws a parallel between Okocha’s skills on the pitch and his own smooth approach to love and romance. His lyrics paint the picture of a man who plays by his own rules:

Produced by longtime collaborator Kukbeatz, Jay Jay blends Afro-fusion rhythms with the infectious melodies Ruger is known for. The song marks his first official release of 2025, following Toma Toma featuring Tiwa Savage.
