Rema Packs Out 20,000-Capacity Accor Arena in Paris for Landmark Concert

Afrobeats sensation Rema continues his global takeover as he filled up the iconic Accor Arena in Paris on June 30, 2025, delivering a powerful, high-energy performance to over 20,000 fans.

The Grammy-nominated star dazzled the crowd with an unforgettable set that featured his biggest hits, from early breakouts like Dumebi to chart-topping global smashes like Calm Down featuring Selena Gomez, which recently made history as the first African song to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify.

The concert is part of his HEIS World Tour, celebrating his critically acclaimed sophomore album HEIS, which has earned him a Grammy nomination and cemented his status as a force in global pop culture.

Rema wasn’t alone on stage. He surprised fans by bringing out Odumodublvck for a live performance of their hard-hitting collaboration War Machine, and later welcomed street-hop star Shallipopi to perform their joint record Benin Boys, sending the Paris crowd into a frenzy.

In a symbolic moment during the show, Rema stood alongside wax figures of Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, Afrobeats’ so-called “Big 3.” It’s part of a bold statement he’s been making throughout his tour: that the elite group should now be called the Big 4. A message he reinforced on his track Hehehe with the lyrics: “There’s no longer a Big 3, there’s now a Big 4.”

This Paris stop follows other sold-out shows at major venues like London’s O2 Arena and Madison Square Garden in New York, where he became one of just a few Nigerian artists to headline the prestigious stage.

Rema’s Accor Arena concert is yet another milestone in his impressive global journey, further solidifying his place at the forefront of Afrobeats’ international expansion.
