Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy from the famous P-Square duo, has reiterated his stance on splitting with his twin brother, Peter Okoye. The tension between the two resurfaced when Paul revealed that Peter had allegedly filed a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to have him arrested.
During an Instagram live session on Wednesday, Paul expressed his frustrations, claiming he shouldered most of the work in the group while others reaped the benefits.
“Those days of monkey dey work, baboon dey chop, I no dey do again. So I would rather continue working for myself. Every time, only me dey sing all the songs. I no dey do again,” Paul said in pidgin English.
Despite reuniting in 2021 after their initial split in 2017, Paul emphasized that the issues between him and his brother run deeper than the public perceives.
The musician’s comments highlight ongoing complexities in the brothers’ relationship and suggest that the rift may not be resolved anytime soon.
