Nigerian singer-songwriter Lojay has officially confirmed an upcoming collaborative project with Afrobeats star Fireboy DML—a partnership that fans are already buzzing about.
Speaking in an A-T Spaces interview on Sunday, March 2, 2025, Lojay revealed how the collaboration came to life. He described Fireboy as an “interesting individual” and shared that their creative connection was immediate.
“It was Olamide that mentioned it… That first day, we probably did like 4-5 songs, and you could tell that there’s chemistry here,” Lojay said. “We had so many songs together that we just knew we had to put all this music together and give it to the world.”
While the project’s title and release date remain under wraps, fans can expect a blend of both artists’ unique sounds, making this one of the most exciting collaborations in Afrobeats.
