Iyabo Ojo Unveils Official Trailer for ‘Labake Olododo,’ Set to Hit Cinemas This March

Nollywood powerhouse Iyabo Ojo has officially dropped the trailer for her highly anticipated epic film, Labake Olododo, which is set for release on March 28, 2025.

A Story of Power, Loyalty & Survival
Titled Labake Olododo: The Warrior Lord, the film dives deep into themes of loyalty, power struggles, and leadership burdens, set against the rich backdrop of pre-colonial Yoruba land. The trailer offers a glimpse into a world of warring kingdoms, sacred traditions, and high-stakes battles, promising a visually striking and action-packed cinematic experience.

Iyabo Ojo takes on the lead role of Labake, a fierce and determined warrior navigating the turbulent waters of political alliances and personal sacrifices. With elaborate costumes, gripping battle sequences, and a rich cultural soundtrack, the film aims to transport audiences into an authentic Yoruba historical narrative.

A Star-Studded Cast & Strong Production Team
Alongside Iyabo Ojo, Labake Olododo features an impressive lineup of Nollywood stars, including Femi Adebayo, Faithia Williams, Kunle Afolayan, and Mr. Macaroni.

The film is a joint effort between Fespris Production, FilmOne Studios, Abazee Productions, and Alaba Ultimate, with renowned director Biodun Stephen at the helm. Given the level of collaboration and production scale, Labake Olododo is poised to make a significant mark in the growing wave of historical Nollywood epics.

With its blend of action, culture, and compelling storytelling, Labake Olododo is set to be a must-watch when it hits cinemas on March 28, 2025.
