Afrobeats artist, Anthony Victor, popularly known as Victony, has expressed that he isn’t in a rush to achieve the same level of fame as his colleagues, Rema and Asake.
He made this statement in response to comments from some social media users who suggested that his debut album, ‘Stubborn,’ wasn’t “commercially successful” because it didn’t attract enough negative attention to make it trend.
Victony dismissed these claims, calling them “ridiculous.” He emphasized that the expectations for his album were unrealistic considering his current status in the music industry.
“Lmao, saying Victony needs more haters is the dumbest thing I’ve seen because what’s the rush? Everyone wants to be Rema and Asake in 2 hours?” he wrote on his X handle.
