Femi Adebayo Celebrates as ‘Jagun Jagun’ Secures 7 Nominations at 2024 AMAA

Veteran actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo is in a celebratory mood as his blockbuster film, ‘Jagun Jagun,’ garnered seven nominations at the prestigious 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). The nominations were announced during a grand event in Lagos, which saw notable members of the film industry, including the AMAA jury, AFA board members, and NFVCB executives, in attendance.

“Jagun Jagun” has been nominated in several key categories for this year’s awards, including:

  • Best Actor in a Supporting Role
  • Achievement in Production Design
  • Achievement in Costume Design
  • Achievement in Makeup
  • Achievement in Visual Effects
  • Ousmane Sembene Award for Best Film in an African Language
  • NFVCB Award for Best Nigerian Film

Femi Adebayo took to Instagram to share his excitement with his fans and team, expressing:

“Hey guys, we have done it again! Delighted to announce that ‘Jagun Jagun’ clinched seven nominations at the 2024 AMAA AWARDS nominee announcement yesterday.”

Among the esteemed guests present at the nomination event were Shaibu Husseini (Director General, NFVCB), George Anyiam-Osigwe, Steve Ayorinde, Segun Arinze, Nobert Young, and several other influential figures in the African film industry.

This is yet another milestone for Femi Adebayo and the “Jagun Jagun” team as the film continues to captivate audiences and earn critical acclaim across the continent.
