Exciting Lineup: Asake, Fireboy, Wizkid, and More Set to Unveil New Projects in Second Half of 2024

2024 promises to be a bustling year for Nigerian music as several artists gear up to launch highly anticipated projects.

The landscape of Nigerian mainstream music continues to evolve, with artists reflecting their personal growth and the ever-changing musical trends in their latest releases.

After a slow start, the first quarter saw stellar albums from Ayra Starr, Tems, Victony, and Simi, setting the stage for an eventful second half of the year.

Leading the charge in the upcoming months are Rema, who will drop his eagerly awaited sophomore album ‘He Is’, and Chike, set to release his third album ‘Son of Chike’ in July.

Asake has also announced a summer tour titled “Lungu Boy”, accompanied by the release of his third album of the same name, marking his third album in as many years.

Fireboy is poised to unveil his fourth album, preceded by hit singles ‘Everyday’ and ‘Obaasima’. Meanwhile, Oxlade is preparing to launch his debut album ‘Oxlade From Africa’, originally slated for March 2024.

Other notable releases on the horizon include Wizkid’s ‘Morayo’ album, dedicated to his late mother, highlighting a diverse array of musical journeys to come in 2024.
