Dremo drops Diss track for Sarkodie [listen here]

On May 10, 2024, Ghanaian hip hop superstar Sarkodie released a chest-thumping single called ‘Brag’ on which he reiterated his status as Africa’s biggest rapper.

Sarkodie’s recent release, “Brag,” has sparked a buzz in the music scene. In the song, he confidently asserts his dominance in the African music industry, dropping names like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, and Asake – all prominent Nigerian artists.

By doing so, Sarkodie boldly declares himself the king of African music, claiming he has no peers on the continent. Instead, he sees himself in the same league as international heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar and Drake, implying that his only real competition comes from across the Atlantic.

This boastful declaration has set off a chain reaction, sparking a lively debate among music enthusiasts and potentially setting the stage for a thrilling rap showdown.

Dremo was tagged to Sarkodie’s ‘Brag’ on Instagram by a fan who demanded that he diss the Ghanaian hip royalty to which Dremo replied “Hold my beer”.

Barely 24 hours later, Dremo has replied to Sarkodie‘s ‘Brag’ with a rap diss on which he tells the Ghanaian star that it’s not how far but how well. He also stated that every Nigerian star he name-dropped is doing better than him while threatening to roast Sarkodie who referred to himself as the GOAT (greatest of all time).

Sarkodie will give a cheeky reply to Dremo’s diss on his Instagram comment section by saying the Nigerian rapper has some potential and just needs a few touches.
