Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, widely known as DJ Cuppy, is celebrating the success of her acting debut in the series “Supacell,” which has risen to number one on Netflix’s global TV shows chart.
“Supacell,” a British sci-fi series, premiered on Netflix on June 27, 2024, featuring DJ Cuppy in a cameo role as a disc jockey in the first episode, directed by Rapman.
Expressing her excitement, DJ Cuppy took to her X handle to thank Rapman for the opportunity:
“Cupcakes! Supercell is the number 1 TV show globally on Netflix.
“[I’m] eternally grateful to RealRapman for giving me the chance to be part of this project.
“Now, we are currently the most viewed Netflix show in the world!”
