Nigerian music icon D’Banj has unveiled the tracklist for his highly-anticipated fifth studio album, ‘Entertainer – The Sequel’, blending Afrobeats and Afropop into a creative tapestry of eleven songs and two bonus tracks.
Set for release on August 9, 2024, ‘Entertainer – The Sequel’ promises an array of global collaborations featuring Grammy winner Wyclef Jean, Congolese legend Awilo Logomba, Senegalese icon Youssou N’Dour, American superstar Akon, South African hitmaker DJ Maphorisa, and NBC’s The Voice standout Chechi Sarai.
D’Banj expressed his excitement about the album, stating, “Life is a maze of self-discovery and my new album, ‘Entertainer – The Sequel’, confirms this truth to me. It’s a true reflection of my growth as an artist and my continued commitment to pushing the boundaries of African music.”
The album includes collaborations with Nigerian stars Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, and Chuchu Lee, highlighting D’Banj’s diverse musical influences and expansive creative vision.

Ahead of the album’s debut, D’Banj released a new single titled ‘Worthy’ featuring Youssou N’Dour and Chechi Sarai on July 19, offering fans a glimpse into the musical journey awaiting them.
Accompanying the album release, D’Banj plans a global tour in collaboration with The Temple Company, celebrating two decades of musical excellence and innovation.
