Davido Confirms Joint Album and Tour with Chris Brown Coming in 2026

Afrobeats megastar Davido has officially confirmed that he’s teaming up with American R&B sensation Chris Brown for a joint album and international tour, and fans couldn’t be more excited.

During a recent appearance on The Ebro Show on Apple Music, Davido revealed that he and Chris Brown have over 20 songs together, enough for “two albums,” and that a joint EP is scheduled for release in 2026.

“We can put out two albums right now,” Davido said, hinting at the deep musical synergy between the two global stars.

The Nigerian hitmaker explained that the delay in dropping the project was intentional, as 2025 marks a major year for Chris Brown, and he wanted the Grammy winner to fully enjoy his moment. Still, the duo is wasting no time in building momentum.

Davido also shared that he’ll be joining Chris Brown on his “Breezy Bowl” tour, giving fans a sneak peek of what’s to come from their upcoming collaboration.

“The plan is to do a double continent tour, a tour of Africa and Europe with the joint album,” he told Ebro.

This exciting news confirms hints Davido previously dropped during a live Twitch stream with Cruel Santino, where he teased Chris Brown’s feature on his recently released fifth studio album ‘5IVE’.

Their musical relationship goes way back. Since the global hit “Blow My Mind” off Davido’s 2019 album A Good Time, the duo has collaborated on several records. Chris Brown featured Davido on “Lower Body” from his Indigo album, while Davido and producer KDDO co-wrote Brown’s hit “Under The Influence.”

They reunited on “Shopping Spree” alongside Young Thug for Davido’s 2020 album A Better Time, and in 2022, Davido appeared on Chris Brown’s “Nobody Has to Know.”

Most recently, their work on the charting single “Sensational” from Chris Brown’s 11:11 album earned both Davido and Lojay their first-ever Billboard Hot 100 entries, along with a Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 67th Grammy Awards.

With a joint project on the way and a massive tour planned, Davido and Chris Brown are set to deliver a global musical experience that bridges Afrobeats and R&B like never before.
