Davido leads the pack with an impressive twelve nominations, showcasing his versatility and widespread appeal across various categories. Following closely behind is Burna Boy, securing ten nominations, while Wizkid has garnered seven nominations, underscoring their collective impact on the global music stage.
The three heavyweight artists are set to compete in multiple prestigious categories such as AAEA Best Continental Male Artiste and AAEA Continental Artiste of the Year, reflecting their exceptional musical achievements over the past year.
In addition to these leading artists, other notable nominees include rising stars like Rema, Tems, Omah Lay, Yemi Alade, Asake, Tiwa Savage, Simi Kosoko, Majeed, Lojay, Ayra Starr, and Kizz Daniel, who have each received recognition for their outstanding contributions to African music.
