Champions at Last! PSG Demolish Inter 5-0 to Clinch First-Ever Champions League Title

Paris Saint-Germain finally etched their name into football history, lifting the UEFA Champions League trophy for the very first time in sensational style. In a record-breaking night at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Luis Enrique’s side dismantled Inter Milan 5-0 in what will be remembered as the most one-sided final the competition has ever seen.

It was a night of pure dominance, flair, and youthful brilliance—led by 19-year-old Desire Doue, who announced himself on the grandest stage with two goals and an assist. From start to finish, PSG played with purpose and poise, pressing relentlessly and slicing through Inter’s defense with surgical precision.

A Dream Start for the Parisians

The French champions wasted no time imposing themselves. Just 12 minutes into the final, PSG broke the deadlock. It was a move full of class: Vitinha threaded a perfect pass to Doue inside the box. The teenager, showing maturity beyond his years, unselfishly squared the ball to Achraf Hakimi, who calmly slotted it into the net.

Eight minutes later, the Allianz Arena erupted again. This time, it was Doue getting on the scoresheet. The move began deep in PSG’s half, where defender Willian Pacho performed a miraculous save to keep the ball in play. What followed was a blistering counterattack led by Ousmane Dembele. He found Doue at the edge of the box, whose shot took a slight deflection off Federico Dimarco before nestling into the net—2-0, and PSG were cruising.

Doue Doubles Up, PSG Turn on the Style

Inter Milan, simply put, had no answers. The Serie A side, who had fought valiantly to reach the final, looked completely overwhelmed. PSG’s third goal came in the 55th minute after more dazzling interplay. A cheeky no-look pass from Dembele released Vitinha, who slid in Doue. The teenager made no mistake, firing a crisp shot into the bottom corner for his second of the night.

With Inter reeling, the fourth goal arrived not long after. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who had earlier missed two clear chances, finally got his reward. The Georgian winger timed his run perfectly to latch onto another Dembele ball before coolly slotting past Yann Sommer.

And PSG weren’t done yet.

A Night to Remember: Treble Secured

The final blow came from another teenager—19-year-old Senny Mayulu. In the dying moments, he rounded off a brilliant team move with a thunderous strike that bounced in off the post. Five goals, five different scorers, and a performance that will be remembered for years.

With this emphatic victory, PSG not only claimed their first-ever Champions League title, but also completed a historic treble—having already won Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France. They become only the second French club to win European football’s most coveted trophy, following in the footsteps of Marseille in 1993.

A New Era Begins in Paris

The triumph marks a major milestone for the Qatari-backed club, whose Champions League ambitions have long been a story of near-misses and heartbreaks. But on this night in Munich, everything clicked.

Luis Enrique’s tactical brilliance, the electric pace of Dembele, the creativity of Vitinha, and the fearlessness of young stars like Doue and Mayulu turned dreams into reality.

This wasn’t just a win—it was a statement. Paris Saint-Germain are not just contenders anymore. They are champions. And judging by the youth and depth in this squad, it might just be the beginning of a golden era in Paris.
