Burna Boy Once Asked Omawumi and Waje to Leave Studio Over Doubts About His Future Success.

Timaya, one of Nigeria’s prominent music stars, recently shared a fascinating story about Burna Boy’s unwavering confidence in his future success.

In a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Timaya recounted an incident involving Burna Boy and fellow singers Omawumi and Waje. According to Timaya, Burna Boy boldly declared during a studio session that one day he would be paid to fly on private jets. At the time, private jet travel for Nigerian artists was nearly unheard of, prompting skepticism from Omawumi and Waje.

Their doubts reportedly angered Burna Boy, who stood firm in his vision and asked them to leave the studio. Timaya said:

“Nothing Burna Boy is doing now surprises me. The guy is fearless. There was one time when Burna Boy, Omawumi, and Waje were in the studio, and he [Burna Boy] started saying that a time would come when he would be getting paid to enter jet. Omawumi and Waje started doubting him because then Nigerian artists hadn’t started flying private jets. He got angry and opened the studio door and asked them to leave.”
