Burna Boy Makes African History with Sold-Out Show at Stade de France

History was made as Burna Boy took over the legendary Stade de France in Paris, and did it in unforgettable fashion. Over 80,000 fans filled the stadium to witness the Grammy-winning superstar become the first African artist to headline the iconic venue, and what a night it was.

From the moment the lights dimmed, it was clear that this wasn’t just another concert, it was a celebration of African excellence on a global stage.

Opening the night, Nissi and Fireboy DML set the tone with a high-energy performance of their track “Nobody.” The crowd was instantly on their feet, and social media lit up with clips and excitement as the night unfolded.

Then came Burna Boy.

Performing to a sea of more than 80,698 fans, Burna delivered a show that blended power, passion, and pure Afrofusion magic. With his unmistakable stage presence and a setlist packed with hits, he took the crowd on a journey through music, culture, and emotion.

But the surprises didn’t stop there.

Fans went wild when Shallipopi joined Burna Boy on stage for a surprise remix of “Laho”, a moment that instantly went viral online. And the guest appearances kept coming: French artist Joé Dwèt Filé teamed up with Burna for “4KampeII,” followed by a roaring welcome for Dadju, and finally, UK rap sensation Dave, as they performed their global hit “Location.”

Each guest added a unique spark to the night, reflecting Burna’s far-reaching influence and his ability to bring cultures together through music.

More than just a concert, the night at Stade de France was a monumental milestone, not just for Burna Boy, but for African music as a whole. It marked a moment where sound, culture, and unity crossed borders and captivated the world.

Burna Boy isn’t just making history, he’s shaping the future of global music, and this performance proves his sound knows no limits.
