Burna Boy has made history again by becoming the Nigerian artist with the most charting songs on the US Billboard Hot 100. He achieved this milestone after surpassing Tems, following the debut of “We Pray” by Coldplay, featuring Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini Stoessel. The song debuted at No. 87 on the Billboard Hot 100, bringing Burna Boy’s total chart entries to six.
This accomplishment breaks his tie with Tems, who has five entries. Wizkid, who was the first Nigerian to chart on Billboard, has four entries, while Rema, CKay, Fireboy DML, Davido, and Lojay each have one.
Burna Boy is now just one song away from breaking Seether’s record as the African artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 chart entries, highlighting his dominance and influence not just in Afrobeats but globally.
