Brighton has made waves in the transfer market by securing the signature of Ibrahim Osman from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland. The Seagulls announced on Saturday that they’ve beaten Arsenal to land the talented 19-year-old winger. The £16m transfer will see Osman join Brighton in the summer of 2024, with his contract running until June 2029.

Osman’s journey to Brighton began in January last year when he moved to FC Nordsjaelland from Ghana’s Right to Dream academy. Since then, he has showcased his talent across 29 matches this season, scoring four goals and providing five assists. His standout performances didn’t go unnoticed, catching the eye of Premier League giants Arsenal as well.
The unveiling of Osman was a family affair, with his loved ones present to witness this pivotal moment. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Osman expressed his gratitude and excitement:
“Alhamdulillah regardless. Extremely happy moment for me and my family to start this new journey. Exciting times ahead. ‘DON’T BLINK.’ Indeed, Allah’s help is always near.”

Brighton’s fans will no doubt be eager to see what the promising Ghanaian winger can bring to the pitch. Stay tuned, as the Seagulls soar to new heights with their latest signing!
