BNXN asks fans to stop pitting him against his friends.

Nigerian singing sensation BNXN has taken to social media to address the recent comparisons being made between him and fellow artist Ayra Starr. In a tweet on May 13, 2024, BNXN called for an end to the pitting of artists against each other for entertainment purposes.

The Backstory:
BNXN, known for his iconic voice in Nigerian mainstream pop music, has been at the center of online debates and comparisons with other artists. Recently, influencers have been fueling the fire, sparking a debate over who is the better singer between BNXN and Ayra Starr. This isn’t the first time BNXN has faced such comparisons; he previously had a public feud with Ruger, which eventually led to a joint EP and a renewed friendship.

Ayra Starr’s Focus:
Meanwhile, Ayra Starr remains focused on her upcoming sophomore album, “The Year I Turned 21”, featuring guest appearances from Asake, Giveon, Coco Jones, Aniita, and her brother Milar. The Grammy-nominated star recently dropped a new single, “No Bad Vibe” featuring Seyi Vibez, and seems unperturbed by the online chatter.
