Ayra Starr has officially become the most-viewed Nigerian female artist on YouTube, dethroning Yemi Alade with a record-breaking 811 million total views on the platform. The 22-year-old achieved this feat with her hit single, Rush, amassing over 395 million views. This places Rush as the most-viewed music video by a Nigerian female artist, overtaking Yemi Alade’s classic Johnny.

While Ayra Starr leads in total views, Yemi Alade maintains the highest subscriber count among Nigerian female artists, with 2.41 million subscribers. Ayra Starr follows closely with 2.26 million, showcasing her rapid rise in the Afrobeats scene.

This milestone highlights Ayra Starr’s growing impact on the global music stage, solidifying her position among Nigeria’s leading artists and setting a new benchmark for future female artists.
