Ayra Starr Laments Feeling Old at 22

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has expressed concern over feeling “old” despite being only 22. Born in 2002, the singer shared how her demanding schedule as an artist has impacted her sense of youthfulness.

In a recent conversation in Nairobi, Kenya, she remarked, “I have met people born in the 90s, and they’re so vibrant and young. Meanwhile, I feel old.”

She further emphasized her desire for rest, admitting, “I want to stay home, I want to sleep.”

Reflecting on her music career, Ayra Starr mentioned that creating more music helps her discover her true path as an artist.
