Ayra Starr dazzles fans in France with songs from her new album

Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr continues to build momentum for her highly anticipated second album, treating fans in France to an unforgettable performance.

On May 28, 2024, Ayra Starr took the iconic Louvre stage by storm, mesmerizing the crowd with a selection of her hit singles, including tracks from her forthcoming album, ‘The Year I Turned 21’.

The talented artist performed ‘Control’, a teaser from her upcoming album, scheduled for release on May 31, 2024. She also thrilled the audience with her smash hit ‘Rush’, which made history by becoming the first song by a Nigerian female artist to achieve Diamond certification in France.

Ayra Starr’s French performance follows her recent headline act at the C6 Fest in Sau Paulo, Brazil, solidifying her global appeal.

Her impressive rise to fame has earned her three nominations at the 2024 BET Awards, including Best New Artist and Best African Act, a testament to her growing international recognition.

As she prepares to drop her sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21’, Ayra Starr has revealed that the album features collaborations with Asake, Giveon, Coco Jones, Aniita, Don Jazzy, and her brother Milar. She aims to create a universal appeal with this album, despite it being written from a 21-year-old’s perspective.

Ahead of the album’s release, Ayra Starr has already shared singles like ‘Rhythm & Blues’, ‘Comma’, and ‘Bad Vibes’ featuring Seyi Vibez, building anticipation for what promises to be an unforgettable musical experience.
