Afrobeats sensation Asake has been announced as one of the headliners for the highly anticipated Yardland Festival in France. The Grammy-nominated star will take the stage alongside an impressive lineup of global artists, including American rapper Latto and Belgian sensation Hamza.
Other notable performers set to light up the festival include French hitmaker Tiakola and Swazi DJ and producer Uncle Waffles, promising an electrifying blend of Afrobeats, hip-hop, and Amapiano.

The Amapiano-infused star has had a buzzing start to 2025, making waves with his bold fashion choices, new face tattoos, and high-energy performances.
Fresh off his 67th Grammy Awards appearance, Asake surprised fans with the freestyle “Military,” where he declared his new era of creative freedom. He also recently teased an upcoming track on TikTok, fueling speculation about his next big release after “Why Love.”
Beyond his music, Asake has been in the spotlight for his rumored romance with model Eva Apio, as the two were spotted together at the Marine Serre fashion show in Paris and later partying in a nightclub.
The two-time Grammy nominee is set for a monumental 2025, with six nominations at the 17th Headies Awards, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year. He will be looking to secure his second consecutive Album of the Year win at the ceremony on April 5.
“Why Love” marked his first release of 2025 and his first single since parting ways with YBNL. Now operating under his own imprint, Giran Republic, Asake is not just making music, he’s expanding his brand, launching a marijuana retail business in California.
With his growing global appeal and upcoming performances at major festivals, Asake is solidifying his place as one of Afrobeats’ most exciting and influential stars.
