Popular American singer Enisa has experienced a significant drop in her follower count, losing over 12,000 followers on the social media platform X within 24 hours.
This decline followed her decision to unfollow famous Nigerian Afrobeat musician Davido on the same platform.
Davido had previously featured on the remix of her song ‘Love Cycle’ in 2021, an effort that helped Enisa connect with fans in Nigeria.
However, a few years after receiving this boost in her career, Enisa unfollowed Davido on X, which did not go unnoticed by fans.
A recent check of her profile on Friday revealed that her followers had decreased from 821.9k to 809.3k.
Social media influencers such as Smallie and Dapsy, who had also played a role in helping Enisa connect with Nigerian fans, were noted during this period.
