The Afro Nation festival has solidified its position as a premier event, showcasing the best of Afrobeats to a global audience. On June 26, 2024, the festival kicked off in Portugal, featuring performances from some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars.
Ruger and BNXN delivered thrilling performances, including their collaborative hit “Romeo Must Die.” Ruger also performed his new singles “Luv Again” and “Make Way,” while BNXN treated the audience to “Gwagwalada” and “Finesse.”
Asake, the headlining act, delivered an electrifying performance of his hit songs, including the highly anticipated “Fuji Extravaganza” from his upcoming album “Lungu Boy.” He was joined on stage by British rapper Central Cee for a performance of their new single “Wave.”

The 3-day festival will also feature performances from Rema, J Hus, Omah Lay, Flavour, and other African music stars. The Afro Nation’s Amapiano stage will be headlined by Focalistic, Tyler ICU, Uncle Waffles, and other hitmakers.
