Neymar Jr. Speaks Out: Saudi Pro League, MSN Reunion, and World Cup 2026 Dreams

In an exclusive interview with CNN Sports, Neymar Jr. shared his candid thoughts on a range of topics, including the rise of the Saudi Pro League, a potential reunion with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, and his ambitions for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Brazilian star offered insights that were both eye-opening and intriguing for football fans worldwide.

Saudi Pro League vs. Ligue 1: Neymar’s Verdict

When asked about the competitive level of football leagues, Neymar boldly stated:

“I with Cristiano Ronaldo… today, I think the Saudi League is above Ligue 1. The level of the Saudi Pro League is increasing, the players are also better.”

Although he acknowledged the quality of Ligue 1, having spent years at Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar suggested that the Saudi Pro League is now ahead in terms of growth and talent.

“Ligue 1 has its strengths. It’s a very high-level championship. I know it well… but Saudi is ahead,”

he added

With a host of global stars, including Neymar himself, now playing in Saudi Arabia, the league’s meteoric rise has sparked a debate about its growing influence in world football.

MSN Reunion at Inter Miami?

Neymar didn’t shy away from discussing the possibility of recreating the iconic MSN trio — Messi, Suarez, and Neymar — at Inter Miami. The prospect of reuniting with his former Barcelona teammates brought excitement to his voice.

“The reunion with Messi and Suarez would be really incredible! They are my friends, we still speak to each other. It’d be interesting to revive this trio,”

Neymar shared.

While he expressed happiness with his current club, Al Hilal, Neymar left the door open for future possibilities, saying,

“I’m happy in Saudi… but you never know in football.”

Eyes on World Cup Glory

For Neymar, the 2026 FIFA World Cup is already on his radar. The Brazilian star confirmed his intention to represent his country and aim for football’s ultimate prize.

“Of course I plan to be at the World Cup 2026! It’s part of my plans for sure. I will try doing my best to win with Brazil. I want to be there as I fully trust our team,”

he affirmed.

With his undeniable talent and passion for the game, Neymar remains a key player for Brazil, and fans will undoubtedly be eager to see him lead the team in the tournament.

The Bigger Picture

Neymar’s comments highlight not just his ambitions but also the evolving landscape of global football. The rise of the Saudi Pro League, the allure of reunions with old teammates, and the dream of World Cup glory all paint a picture of a player who is as ambitious as ever.

As Neymar continues to shine on and off the pitch, one thing is certain: his journey is far from over, and the world will be watching.
