Ayra Starr, Gabzy, and More to Headline Afro Nation’s 5th Anniversary.

Ayra Starr's 'The Year I Turned 21' surpasses 500 million Spotify streams

Afro Nation, the world’s largest festival dedicated to Afrobeats and Amapiano, is celebrating its fifth anniversary in 2025 with a star-studded lineup. Following the earlier announcement of Burna Boy and Tems as headliners, more Afrobeats heavyweights have been confirmed for the LIT Stage, including Ayra Starr and Gabzy.

Notable Performers:

  • Ayra Starr: Known for her unique voice and collaboration with Stormzy, Ayra Starr continues to shine as one of Afrobeats’ rising stars. Her distinctive sound has earned her global recognition, including an endorsement from former U.S. President Barack Obama.
  • Gabzy: A London-based Afro-fusion artist, Gabzy joins the impressive lineup alongside other major acts, making him one of the top draws at the festival.

Additionally, the lineup will feature talents from various genres:

  • Franglish and Tiakola: Two big names from the French hip-hop scene.
  • Innoss’B: An Afro-Congo pioneer who continues to make waves internationally.

The Amapiano stage will feature legends like DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small as the Scorpion Kings, along with rising stars like Vigro Deep, DBN Gogo, and Oskido. This celebration of African culture will take place on the beautiful beaches of Portimão, Portugal, from July 9th to 11th, 2025.

Afro Nation has been a global platform since 2019, uniting over 160 countries through music, fashion, and food, showcasing African culture to the world. Its fifth edition is set to be another unforgettable experience.

This event promises to continue Afro Nation’s tradition of celebrating the best of African music, uniting fans from across the globe.
