Bobrisky Demands Open Investigation Over N15m Bribery Allegations.

Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has called for an independent and open investigation into allegations that he bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million. The claims were made by social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, who shared an audio recording where Bobrisky allegedly admitted to offering the bribe to avoid a money laundering charge and prison time.

Bobrisky has vehemently denied the accusations, calling the recording fake. In a series of Instagram posts, he challenged his accusers and demanded a transparent investigation, free from intimidation. He specifically requested that the investigation be conducted independently, outside of the EFCC office where he was initially detained.

Bobrisky further expressed his readiness to defend himself in court, dismissing fears of further detention and questioning the authenticity of the audio recording. He stated:

“Anybody can alter any audio, add or frame any audio and put it out… The fact remains that I am not the maker of the audio… I will meet you guys in any court this time around if you have any case against me.”

Bobrisky also hinted at personal struggles, referencing a cryptic post about a suicide attempt but later assured followers of his determination to face the allegations head-on.
