Tems Responds to Rumors She Was Pregnant for Future: “Why Not Wizkid or Drake?”

Tems releases music video for her single 'Burning'

Nigerian music sensation, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has finally addressed the rumors surrounding her alleged pregnancy for American rapper, Future. The rumors emerged after she was spotted at Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2024 London Fashion Week, donning a form-fitting black dress, which led fans to speculate that she might be pregnant.

During her recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Tems expressed confusion over why Future was the focal point of the rumors. She humorously questioned why the gossip didn’t involve other popular figures like Wizkid or Drake, both of whom she has worked with in the past.

“Why am I pregnant for Future? Why not Wizkid? Why not Drake? People just pick the most controversial thing because of Future’s reputation as a ladies’ man with several kids,” Tems said.

Tems also revealed some of her top rap influences, listing artists like Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Ab-Soul, Andre 3000, and J. Cole. The latter was featured on her debut album Born In The Wild, released this year.
