In a candid Instagram live chat with Daddy Freeze, Bassey shared details about his new life and career, revealing that his new profession offers a more comfortable lifestyle compared to what he experienced in Nigeria.
During the chat, Daddy Freeze asked about Bassey’s new line of work abroad, expressing surprise at the transition from being a producer and actor to working in construction.
Bassey responded:
“I’m into construction here.”
He further explained in pidgin that his new job pays better than even some tech roles, and he has been able to enjoy a more relaxed life in Canada, saying:
“In the last seven months, the province I have visited just on weekends in Canada, even person wey dey do tech no fit afford am.”
Despite his fame in Nollywood, Bassey appears to be thriving in his new profession, enjoying the benefits of his work and exploring different parts of Canada.
