Nigerian singer Joshua Iniyezo, popularly known as Solidstar, has proposed to his fiancée. The announcement was made on Tuesday via his social media page, where he shared a photo of the engagement ring on his partner’s finger, describing her as a good woman.
In the post, Solidstar captioned the photo with, “Good woman no dey easy to find.”
This engagement comes as a positive turn for the singer, who was seen in a concerning state in August 2023. Solidstar was spotted looking unkempt and walking aimlessly on the street, which his brother Joseph attributed to his struggle with drug addiction. The singer addressed this incident in March 2024, announcing that he had quit smoking and drinking alcohol.
Solidstar began his music career at the age of 14 as a drummer in a church in his hometown of Delta State. He later ventured into the professional music industry after being discovered at a talent show in Ajegunle, Lagos.
Solidstar’s engagement marks a significant and hopeful chapter in his personal life as he continues to focus on his recovery and career.
