Paul Okoye Responds to Joe Igbokwe’s Comments on P-Square’s Split.

Paul Nonso Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy and one half of the now-defunct music duo P-Square, has sharply responded to comments made by Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The exchange follows the recent confirmation by Paul that P-Square has split again, barely three years after reuniting in 2021. The group originally split in 2016.

Reacting to the news of their latest split, Joe Igbokwe criticized the brothers for their inability to resolve their differences despite being twins. He expressed his disappointment on Facebook, saying:

“So shameful that two twin brothers Paul and Peter cannot work together, cannot love one another, they cannot trust each other, they cannot think together, they cannot reason together, they cannot forgive each other, they cannot manage their wives, they cannot manage their success story, they cannot control their emotions, they cannot manage their internal contradictions, even their wives could not help matters, what about their parents, their brothers and sisters, their Nnaochie? etc. This is a shame.

“It pains me to no end. Now, are there no elders in the family? This is success without brains. Education without character. Make shame catch us small na. When Gold rusts what will Iron do? Ndi ara akwu eke. Awon werey.”

Paul Okoye took to Instagram to blast Igbokwe for his remarks, urging him to focus on the challenges facing the country instead. He wrote:

“Joe Igbokwe, your papa! Elder wey mumu! Focus on the country wey you put mouth scatter! People are hungry!”

This public confrontation adds another layer to the ongoing saga of P-Square, highlighting the personal and professional challenges the brothers have faced over the years.
