Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon has lost a $10,000 bet to singer Zlatan Ibile after Spain’s victory over England in the UEFA Euro 2024 final on Sunday night.
In a video shared earlier on Zlatan’s Instagram, the two were seen placing the bet, with Soberekon backing England and Zlatan favoring Spain.
The match concluded with Spain defeating England 2-1, securing their fourth UEFA Euro title.
“Spain’s victory came after a goal two minutes into the second half. England’s Cole Palmer equalised in the 73rd minute, but an 86th-minute goal from Mikel Oyarzabal sealed Spain’s win.”
Following Spain’s triumph, Soberekon expressed his disappointment by sharing a crying emoji on his Instagram story.
