Dammy Krane Responds to KWAM 1’s Call for Peace with Davido

Popular Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has reacted to an order from Fuji music legend KWAM 1 to end his ongoing online feud with Davido.

The dispute between the two artists began in 2023 when Dammy Krane accused Davido of owing him money. Davido responded by calling Dammy Krane ungrateful, which escalated the situation.

Dammy Krane has since continued to criticize Davido on social media, recently accusing him of being involved in the 2017 death of his friend, Tagbo Umeike. Tagbo died from alleged alcohol poisoning after a birthday party at Shisha Lounge in Lekki, Lagos state.

In an attempt to mediate, KWAM 1 urged both artists to make peace.

Reacting to KWAM 1’s appeal, Dammy Krane revealed in a post on his X account that Davido had arranged a meeting with his mother. He emphasized that Davido should compensate him for his songwriting services but also expressed his willingness to make peace due to the influence of respected individuals like KWAM 1.

“SO, @davido set up a meeting with my mum in Yankee lol. I understand all. I’ll leave the Tagbo matter to God because of good people like family and K1 De Ultimate. But David pay for the song I wrote and royalties. PS: Evil prevails when good people refuse to talk.”

Dammy Krane’s statement suggests a potential resolution to the conflict, highlighting the importance of dialogue and respect in resolving disputes.
