Davido’s critically acclaimed fourth studio album Timeless has officially earned a Silver certification in the United Kingdom, a testament to its global success and cultural impact.
According to a report shared by Chart Data, the album has surpassed 100,000 units in sales in the UK, making it eligible for a Silver plaque under the standards of the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
Released on March 31, 2023, Timeless became an instant phenomenon. It broke several streaming records on platforms such as Spotify Nigeria, Audiomack, Boomplay, and YouTube within its first 24 hours and first week of release.
The 17-track album featured a star-studded lineup including Asake, Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Dexta Daps, Fave, and The Cavemen. It was celebrated for its sonic range, polished production, and maturity in Davido’s sound.
Timeless earned Davido a Grammy nomination for Best Global Album, and its standout track “Unavailable” also picked up a Grammy nod for Best African Song Performance. Another highlight from the album, “Feel,” was nominated for Best Global Song Performance, further solidifying the project’s international acclaim.
This milestone arrives as Davido continues the rollout of his fifth studio album 5ive, released in April 2025. The new project has already produced one of the year’s biggest hits, “With You” featuring Omah Lay, which is currently dominating charts and social media trends.
As Davido takes his 5ive tour across North America and Europe, the Silver plaque for Timeless adds another prestigious accolade to his growing list of global achievements.
