Nigerian rap sensation Odumodublvck continues to break new ground as he gears up to perform at the prestigious 2025 Wireless Festival in the United Kingdom. According to the rapper himself, Drake made it happen.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, Odumodublvck revealed that the Canadian megastar personally requested his inclusion on the Wireless lineup.
“FIRST TIME AT THE WIRELESS. LONDON, ENGLAND. ABJ CITY STAND UP,” he wrote, proudly announcing his participation.

Drake, who is set to headline the three-day festival with a trio of sets from July 11 to July 13 at Finsbury Park, London, is no stranger to championing emerging talent. His endorsement of Odumodublvck adds another layer of global recognition to the Nigerian rapper’s rapidly rising profile.

This moment is not only a personal win for Odumodublvck but a landmark moment for Nigerian hip hop as he becomes the first Nigerian rapper to perform at Wireless, one of the world’s most iconic urban music festivals.

Since his explosive breakout two years ago, Odumodublvck has become the face of a new wave of Nigerian rap. With a string of hits and co-signs from the likes of Skepta, Stormzy, Dave, and Rick Ross, his gritty style and unique voice have set him apart on both local and international stages.

His inclusion in the Wireless lineup alongside names like Burna Boy, Boy Better Know, BigXthaPlug, Lancey Foux, and Vybez Kartel underscores just how far he’s come from the streets of Abuja.

The 2025 Wireless Festival also marks its 20th anniversary, and with Drake’s three-day headlining performance and Odumodublvck’s debut, this edition promises to be historic.

Beyond Wireless, Odumodublvck is set for an even busier schedule. He’s one of the featured acts on Davido’s upcoming “5ive Alive” tour, further solidifying his place among Nigeria’s elite music exports.

Despite ongoing tensions in the rap scene, including a public feud with fellow rapper Blaqbonez, Odumodublvck’s star continues to rise. His journey from Abuja to the Wireless stage, with a boost from Drake, is a testament to talent, timing, and the power of international co-signs.
