Nigerian music superstar Davido has taken to social media to accuse the security team at a popular nightclub in Ibiza, Spain, of attempting to harm him and his crew.
In a series of posts shared via his Instagram story on Sunday, June 22, 2025, the ‘With You’ hitmaker expressed outrage over a confrontation with security at Hï Ibiza, where he and his team were reportedly attending an after-wedding party.
“@hiibizaofficial security just tried to kill me and my team!! Just watch. All y’all going down,” Davido wrote, alongside photos showing chaos at the venue.
Davido, his crew 30BG, and close associates including Cubana Chief Priest, have been in Ibiza over the past few days to celebrate the wedding finale of his longtime manager Asa Asika.

While full details of the incident remain unclear, reports suggest the altercation broke out during a post-wedding celebration at the club on Saturday night, escalating to what Davido described as a life-threatening encounter.
Backing up Davido’s claims, his cousin Tunji Adeleke also shared his terrifying experience on X (formerly Twitter), saying he was nearly choked by the club’s security.
“All because my brother Asa wanted to do a nice after-wedding celebration with friends and family? @hiibizaofficial security almost just k*lled me! Almost choked me to death. My life flashed before my eyes!!! Closest I’ve been!!! God!!!” Tunji posted.
The posts have since sparked concern and outrage among fans and supporters of the global Afrobeats icon, with many calling for an investigation into the incident.
This is not the first time in recent weeks that Davido has found himself in an unexpected and chaotic situation. Earlier in June, the singer was nearly tackled to the ground by an overzealous fan while on a public outing with his daughter Imade at a mall in Nigeria.
The fan later issued an apology online, insisting he meant no harm.
As of the time of this report, Hï Ibiza has not issued any official statement in response to Davido’s allegations.
