After weeks of anticipation, Afrobeats superstar Davido has finally released the official music video for his viral hit ‘With You’ featuring Omah Lay, and it’s every bit as vibrant and captivating as fans hoped.
Directed by renowned cinematographer Dammy Twitch, the video brings the energetic essence of the track to life with rich colors, sleek fashion, and mesmerizing dance sequences inspired by the viral moves that have dominated TikTok since the song’s release.
‘With You’, one of the standout tracks from Davido’s fifth studio album ‘5ive’, quickly became a fan favorite and a major contender for Song of the Year. The song blends Highlife and Funk influences, a nod to the golden era of Nigerian music in the 70s and 80s.
Produced by hitmaker Tempoe, the track draws inspiration from the classic song ‘Because of English’ by Highlife legend Bright Chimezie, who gave Davido a public nod of approval for paying homage to his sound. In a nostalgic twist, Bright Chimezie makes a special cameo in the video, performing his iconic dance moves alongside Davido and Omah Lay.

Following the success of ‘5ive’, which features 17 star-studded tracks with both Nigerian and global acts, Davido is preparing to take the album on the road. His ‘5 Alive’ tour will hit major venues across the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.
Fans in Canada can look forward to shows at the 19,000-capacity Scotiabank Arena and Place Bell, a 10,000-seater venue, marking two of the biggest international dates on the tour.
