Drake Becomes First Artist to Surpass 115 Billion Spotify Streams

Drake has once again etched his name in the history books, becoming the first artist ever to cross 115 billion streams on Spotify across all credits. The monumental milestone reinforces his dominance as the most commercially successful artist of the streaming era.

This feat isn’t just about numbers, it’s about consistency, global influence, and a discography stacked with hit after hit. With 23 songs surpassing 1 billion streams, Drake trails only behind fellow Canadian star The Weeknd in that category. It’s an impressive stat that underscores his ability to stay relevant, decade after decade.

But 2025 has been particularly historic for the Toronto native. Earlier this year, Drake became the artist with the most RIAA-certified Diamond records, thanks to “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and “Best I Ever Had” crossing the 10 million sales threshold in the U.S.

His streaming dominance isn’t the only record he’s smashed:

  • Drake recently became the first artist to surpass 500 million RIAA certification units.
  • He broke The Beatles’ long-standing record for most cumulative weeks on the Billboard 200.
  • His latest joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, ‘$ome $exy 4 U’, produced his 14th No. 1 song as a soloist and became his 14th Billboard 200-topping album, tying him with Jay-Z and Taylor Swift for second-most No. 1 albums in chart history. Only The Beatles, with 19, remain ahead.

Drake also holds the record for the most songs with over 1 billion streams on Spotify, boasting at least 16 tracks in that elite club. Additionally, with 13 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, he’s tied with Michael Jackson for the most chart-toppers by a male solo artist.

A Streaming Era Titan

With every new record, Drake continues to solidify his legacy as the defining artist of the streaming generation. From mixtape legend to global superstar, his journey is the blueprint for success in modern music.

115 billion Spotify streams and counting, Drake isn’t just breaking records. He’s building a legacy that may never be matched.
