Afrobeats superstar Rema continues his impressive run on the global stage as his hit single “Charm” has officially been certified Platinum in France by the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP).

The infectious track, which appeared on his acclaimed debut album Rave & Roses, becomes his third song to receive platinum status in France, following the success of “Soundgasm” and “Dumebi.”
This latest certification also marks Rema’s fourth SNEP plaque, with his global smash “Calm Down” previously receiving Diamond certification, a feat only nine songs have achieved in France to date.
With this, Rema solidifies his place among Nigeria’s most certified music stars in the French market, second only to Burna Boy, who currently leads with nine SNEP-certified records.
The certification arrives during a whirlwind 2025 for Rema. He’s been on the road with his ‘HEIS’ world tour, delivering headline performances at iconic venues including Madison Square Garden, and he’s gearing up to perform at the 20,000-capacity Accor Arena in Paris, a testament to his growing global fanbase.
Earlier this year, Rema earned his first Grammy nomination in the Best Global Album category for HEIS, and also scored a BET Awards nomination for Best International Act. At the 17th Headies Awards, he led with 11 nominations and took home Best Afrobeats Album and Best Album.
As “Charm” joins his growing list of international hits, Rema continues to push the boundaries of Afrobeats and shape its global future, one certification at a time.
